Azure Mobile Services (+ Universal Apps)

By Shahed C on January 21, 2015

On Jan 21, 2015, I delivered a presentation at BaltoMSDN titled “Azure Mobile Services (+ Universal Apps)”. It’s a slightly-revised update of a presentation I delivered recently at DC ALT.NET. I started with an intro to Universal Apps for the Windows family of platforms, and then walked through a live example of Azure Mobile Services to tie in multiple apps across devices .

Endless Reader: Download

Interesting game for young children

“Good interactive learning experience for young kids, helps with spelling words with individual letters.”

theCHIVE: Download

Useful app for CHIVE users

“Useful app for CHIVE users who were waiting for a Windows Store app!”

 How to Cook Everything: Download

Easy as pie!

“Easy to read recipes and wonderfully drawn sketches!”

 Misfit: Download

Clean UI for new wearables

C# Crash Course Enhanced

By Shahed C on December 5, 2014

In early November 2014, I presented a C# Crash Course for college students at George Mason University. I was asked to present a similar course at George Washington University in early December.

I enhanced my previous presentation to expand upon more intermediate topics, beyond the basics. I also touched on more advanced topics as well.
